Taking Your Relationship Grade from a C- to an A

I would give a C – school grade to most relationships.

So what is a C- grade?

It's not good enough to be happy and not bad enough to leave.

It's WORSE than an F.

Why? Because an F forces change.

An F will not remain an F whereas as C – often will.

Having a C- is DEPRESSING…Let me help you makes sense of what's missing.

It's not about compatibility!

Couples counseling is an art

form that helps people get

unstuck from patterns that

are weighing them down.

Bryon Remo, M.Ed., LMFT creates a different vibe in the counseling office! He is an everyday guy that has overcome struggles similar to his clients.

Bryon willingly shares his life challenges with overcoming ADHD, a failed marriage, struggles with alcohol and even a bumpy start to his 2nd marriage. But through it all, he is very real, very relatable and very honest. Most importantly, Bryon's scars have helped him be a better, husband, father and parent.

In his early years as a therapist, Bryon focused much of his work on supporting struggling teenagers as well as the parents of such kids. In addition, he did significant work consulting with schools and helping special service providers enhance their interventions with challenging populations.

As a couples and family therapist, Bryon has used his warm personality along with his light-hearted and slightly humorous approach to make counseling feel less “therapyish” than what people have historically expected. His understanding of men's reluctance to engage in counseling has given him a unique ability to reach men who are often doubtful of the benefits of therapy.  Bryon's work with relationships helps him diagnose the needs of clients and bring them to a greater awareness of the issues interfering and ways they can unlock their potential quickly. Couples counseling does not require both parties to attend, as one person can educate the other on the process and share the tools in the privacy of your own home.

As a relationship coach, Bryon helps clients develop a systematic approach to understanding their relational strengths while also becoming aware of their blindspots. Understanding of his own shortcomings and the benefits of his own coaching and counseling has made him a better therapist, coach, husband, father and friend.

Bryon sneaks in his humor

at just the right moments

to soften the tension while

staying on point!

Bryon was married for 13 years before getting divorced. Much of what has made him exceptional at his work he attributes to his personal reinvention following the heartache of this relationship. He has three wonderful kids and is remarried to a woman whom he has developed a deeper, highly communicative and faith-based connection and love.

Bryon played Division I baseball at Oklahoma State University. He was a left-handed pitcher. He currently plays competitive tennis, hikes, performs stand up comedy and spends most of his non-working hours attending and being involved in his kids activities.

Bryon will help you experience conflict differently so that you are positioned to create lasting change.  He will help you recognize your blindspots, honor your anger, restore your hopefulness and become the loving and compassionate soul you were meant to be even if your partner does not reciprocate . He will work tirelesly to give you everything in his bag of tricks and beyond to become your best self and move your relationship to a better place even if your partner seems resistant.
